Hi, My name is Sara McDermott and I am the owner/photographer for SjMacky Photography. Photography has been a passion of mine for as long as I can remember. My hobby turned into a business by accident in 2004, when people began offering to pay me to take pictures of their kids. I remember thinking,  “Wow, people are willing to pay me for this???!!” Now 4 years and hundreds of happy clients later, my company has grown into one of the most sought after wedding photography companies in Saint Louis (or at least that’s what I am told..ha ha).

I take a very personal approach when it comes to my clients. From our first initial meeting to the time you receive your proofs, I am the person you’ll be working with. I truly feel I have the best clients in the world! After the wedding it is not uncommon for me to go through a little “client withdrawal”. I often stay in contact with many of my couples. It’s so fun catching up with them about their new lives as husband and wife!  Words cannot express how rewarding it is to meet new clients and watch them progress towards spending the rest of their lives together. My goal in this business has been, is, and will forever be, to provide my clients with beautiful images that will take them back to how they were feeling right at that exact moment.
