So I have been crazy busy with school here lately with it being the first full week and all…I apologize for not being a better blogger. As soon as things start to get into a routine again, I think I will be better! Anyway, Chris and Dana has a beautiful wedding last weekend. It’s funny because a couple weeks ago when Dana and I met for our final consult the weather was so beautiful…nice and cool for August…but I remember telling her don’t let this nice weather fool you. Undoubtedly it will feel like 100 degrees on your wedding day…guess what…I was right…but we had a fabulous day nonetheless. Here’s a few favs of the day..

This was a first…Dana kept herself hidden from her dad and they did a “first meeting” it was so sweet…lots o’ tears!

Don’t let the pretty blue skies fool ya…I still got DRENCHED when the sky opened up later…ha ha keeping with the “let’s have rain every wedding I have this year” tradition…thankfully I was the only one wet…everyone else was in the bar having cocktails!

Oh and I finally got to meet the “sweaty Teddy” everyone keeps telling me about! He kept the dance floor packed all night long…and yes there is a reason they call him that name…

In addition to the fall wedding season coming up, school starts Thursday! I was in cleaning up today and had my camera so I thought I’d take a few pics to show you where I live Monday through Friday

My students are soooo spoiled! My new room is HUGE!

I shot Jen and Jason’s wedding in March of 2006. Jen is one of my all time favorite brides and I was thrilled to do their family shoot…with their newest addition, Owen! Typically I don’t do family shoots because I am busy with weddings and what-not, but I always make room for my previous clients! Here are a couple of shots of Jen and Jason when they got married…their pics were taken pre-blogging days so I never posted any images of them..

As I mentioned earlier I took a little more time off this summer than I usually do to try to remember what life was like before I started doing wedding photography…but now blog stalkers everywhere can rejoice… my fall wedding season officially kicks off again next weekend!! I have a wedding almost every weekend from Aug 23-Nov 22nd…and the Sundays I am not doing weddings I am doing engagement shoots! I am really looking forward to all the great couples I get to hang out with!
In the meantime I got permission to post a couple images from one of the bpic sessions…

I have a few more pics to post from a family shoot too, but I just decided I am going new school shopiing for me so I will do it later when I get home! Yay for new school clothes…it almost makes going back worth it…ha ha

Finally I got to do something FUN this summer…me and the fam went to visit grandma and grandpa mcd at their house down at the lake. It was so relaxing!!! It was nice not having anything to do. I didn’t even bring my laptop! Here’s a glimpse at our weekend…

Someone tell me why winter drags on and on but my summer vacation is over before I know it… I feel like I haven’t even done anything super fun yet…I have been up to my ears in bpics so after yesterday’s shoot at the house I went and met up with my friends. I have the BEST friends anyone could ever ask for. It makes living out here and Jeffco all the worthwhile…although the sun rises aren’t too shabby..

This is cute little Sydney…He will be one in October and his Mommy just found out she’s having another one due in February!! She will be a busy mom!!

okay well I hope that was enough to hold over some of my blog stalkers for awhile…ha ha I am off to the Westin to do some more BPIC shoots. I am excited because the last 25 shoots have been here at the house and I am pumped to go somewhere else!
